Vicky van der Wagt

Vicky van der Wagt is a data scientist at Poseida Therapeutics, Inc., starting in December 2024. Prior experience includes roles at Cibus as a Senior Tech Transfer Data Associate, Tech Transfer Data Associate, and Research Associate from July 2021 to November 2024. Vicky also worked as a COVID Tester at the University of California, Santa Cruz from September 2020 to June 2021, ensuring safe sample collection and processing for COVID-19 testing. Earlier experience includes a position as an R&D Molecular Biology Intern at Singular Genomics and as an Engineering Intern at Teradyne. Vicky holds a Master of Science in Applied Data Science from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Additional education includes a study abroad program at University College Maastricht.
