Alexus Walters

Alexus Walters currently serves as a Mental Health Care Coordinator at Potomac Community Services since January 2024. Prior experience includes working as a Special Education Instructional Assistant at Frederick County Public Schools from September 2022 to November 2023, and as a Registered Behavior Technician at Brighter Strides ABA from May 2021 to April 2023, where Alexus provided 1:1 applied behavior analysis therapy to children with ASD. Additional experience includes serving as an ABA Therapist at Behavioral Framework and as a Direct Support Professional at The Arc of Washington County - MD, where responsibilities involved implementing treatment programs and providing residential support for individuals with disabilities. Alexus began the career as a Medical Scribe at Meritus Health in early 2018. Educationally, Alexus is pursuing a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor from Capella University, expected to complete by February 2026, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the American Public University System.
