Akhil Sharma

Akhil Sharma is a professional with extensive experience in finance and auditing. Currently serving as a Deputy Manager at Power Finance Corporation Ltd. since October 2019, Akhil has successfully raised approximately $4 billion from international markets through various financial instruments, including the first Euro Green bond from India and the first Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) to issue a USD bond with a tenure exceeding 10 years. Prior to this role, Akhil worked as an Audit Assistant at S. Bhandari & Co. from August 2016 to August 2019, where responsibilities included conducting statutory audits for clients such as UTI Asset Management Company Limited and the Road Infrastructure Development Company of Rajasthan Limited. Akhil holds a B. Com degree from Rajasthan University, as well as qualifications as a Company Secretary and in Company Law from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, along with a Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
