Colin Knapper

Colin Knapper is an experienced procurement and operations professional with a diverse background spanning over a decade in various roles. Currently serving as Head of Procurement and Operations at Power & Water since December 2022, Colin was previously a Senior Buyer at Network Rail and Sourcing Manager at Tata Steel. Colin's experience also includes positions such as Sourcing & Contract Lifecycle Manager at Tata Steel, Planner at TIMET, and Assistant Capital Buyer at Tata Steel. Earlier in the career, Colin held the role of Buyer / Materials Controller at Altron Communications Equipment Limited and accumulated valuable experience as Assistant Buyer / Assistant Sub Contracts Engineer at Babcock International Group, where significant cost savings were achieved during the HMS Ocean re-fit project. Colin's educational background includes a GNVQ Advanced Engineering from Plymouth City College.
