Meg Welker

Meg Welker is an accomplished environmental professional with extensive experience at PPL Electric Utilities and PPL Corporation since 1996. Currently serving as an Environmental Project Manager, Meg engages with regulatory and natural resource agencies to secure environmental permits and ensure compliance for various projects. Previously, as a Senior Environmental Professional, Meg supported the acquisition of permits for Transmission and Distribution electric facilities and oversaw Best Management Practices implementation across a significant service area. In earlier roles, including Education & Public Outreach Manager and Supervisor of Public Programs, Meg focused on developing outreach strategies and promoting environmental awareness within local communities. Meg earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resource Management from Penn State University and graduated as class Salutatorian from Wallenpaupack Area High School.
