Pascal Karsenti

Pascal has over 15 years of experience in (re)insurance technology and risk assessment. He currently serves as Nephila’s Director of Research & Technology, where he does original research to enhance Nephila’s proprietary underwriting and risk management systems; as Nephila’s Risk Auditor, where he identifies financial, operational and other firm-wide risks of all types; and as Vice President of Markel Digital Investments where he partners with and invests in insurtech startups developing innovative underwriting, risk management and automation technologies. Pascal also serves on various boards, and previously led AIR’s Insurance-Linked Securities team to market leadership in the modeling of catastrophe bond issuances.
