Jeff Cossman

Jeff Cossman is an experienced medical professional and consultant with a notable career spanning several decades. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors at Precipio, Inc. since September 2017, Cossman also operates the Cossman Group as a consultant since October 2008. Previous roles include Medical Advisor at Epigenomics AG from 2016 to September 2022, Founder and CEO of United States Diagnostic Standards, Inc. from 2009 to 2014, and Board member for The Personalized Medicine Coalition and Critical Path Institute. Cossman's extensive background in pathology includes serving as the Oscar B. Hunter Professor and Chairman of the Department of Pathology at Georgetown University School of Medicine, as well as a Senior Investigator in Hematopathology at the National Cancer Institute. Cossman holds an MD from the University of Michigan Medical School and a BS in Human Evolution from the University of Michigan, along with additional education in pathology from the same institution and hematopathology from the National Cancer Institute-National Institutes of Health.
