Geert Raes

Geert Raes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the fields of immunology and legal advisory. As a co-founder and IP & Legal Advisor at Precirix NV since October 2014, Raes plays a crucial role in guiding the company's intellectual property and legal strategies. Additionally, Raes has been a staff scientist and valorisation manager at Vrije Universiteit Brussel since January 2000, contributing to advancements in Cellular and Molecular Immunology, while also serving as a staff scientist at the VIB Inflammation Research Center's Myeloid Cell Immunology Lab. Raes holds a PhD in Applied Biological Sciences with a specialization in Immunology from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and an engineering degree focused on Biotechnology, Immunology, Biology, Engineering, and Chemistry from the same institution.
