Premier Generators was born many years before the name. Owner Jeff Woods originally started the business in Crossville, Tennessee, as Jeff Woods Construction in the late 1990s. The business continued to grow and thrive to the point at which it was serving thousands of customers across the state of Tennessee as a family-owned and -operated small business. 

Originally from Texas, Jeff called on another family member in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to gauge his interest in expanding the backup power generator business. A successful contractor and cousin, Michael Murphy, decided to join the movement to “Control Your Power”. Finally, Premier Generators was born. Jeff Woods Construction, now operating as Premier Generators from its headquarters in Tennessee, now has multiple locations across Tennessee and Texas. 

So while the name is new, there are years of experience, factory training and quality workmanship to back it up. Each Premier Generators location offers just that: premier service in all areas – sales, maintenance, service and installation.
