Ben Schwering

Ben Schwering currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Vice President of Corporate IT at Premier Inc. since August 2016, leading the enterprise Cybersecurity and Corporate IT programs for a healthcare improvement business that serves 4,400 U.S. hospitals and healthcare systems in a hybrid, multi-cloud environment. Prior to this role, Ben held the position of Director of IT Engineering at Nationwide Insurance from October 2010 to August 2016, where responsibilities included overseeing enterprise Data Analytics and Big Data services. Ben's earlier experience includes serving as Vice President of IT at Chase from October 2005 to October 2010, leading initiatives in the development and testing of infrastructure services. Ben holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Ohio University.
