Marti Saballs

Marti Saballs is an experienced journalist and editor with a strong background in economic information. Currently serving as Director de Información Económica at Prensa Ibérica since May 2022, Marti has previously held significant roles including Deputy Chief Editor at El Mundo from September 2019 to May 2022 and Deputy Chief Editor at Unidad Editorial from November 2004 to September 2019. Additional experience includes positions at Recoletos Argentina as Gerente de contenidos and as Redactor Jefe at Actualidad Economica. Marti began a career in journalism as a US Correspondent for Expansión from May 1992 to May 1997. Marti holds an Executive MBA from IESE Business School (1999-2000) and a Licenciado in Ciencias de la Información from the University of Navarra (1985-1990).
