Cole Akers

Cole Akers is a seasoned art professional with extensive experience in curation and project management. Currently serving as Curator and Special Projects Manager at The Glass House since 2013, Cole has honed expertise in managing exhibitions and special initiatives. Prior experience includes a role as Research and Exhibitions Associate at David Zwirner from 2011 to 2013 and as Artist Residencies and Academic Programs Assistant at the Hammer Museum from 2006 to 2008. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Visual Studies from UC Irvine and a Bachelor’s degree in Literature and Cultural Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
