Omar Eaton-Martínez serves as the Senior Vice President for Historic Sites at the National Trust for Historic Preservation, where impactful leadership is provided to a portfolio of 28 nationally significant historic sites. Previous roles include the American Alliance of Museums Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Inclusion Senior Fellow, Assistant Division Chief for Historical Resources at the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, and various positions at the Smithsonian Institution and NASA focused on education, outreach, and research. Omar holds multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. in American/United States Studies from the University of Maryland and a Master's in Education in Educational Leadership. This extensive experience spans areas such as curriculum development, community engagement, and organizational climate assessment.
