Melonie Sheppard

Melonie Sheppard is a seasoned professional in human resources and training within the agricultural sector, currently serving as Sector Manager - Meat & Fibre at Primary ITO since April 2022. With extensive experience as a People Management Consultant for Primary Industries from 2014 to 2022, Melonie developed resources for farm business ownership and provided computer upskilling for red meat farmers. Previous roles include HR Manager positions at Lone Star Farms New Zealand and Agriculture NZ Ltd, along with a temporary HR Support position at Carter Holt Harvey Woodproducts. Melonie holds a Bachelor of Agriculture Science from Massey University and has a proven track record of enhancing training outcomes and fostering staff development in the agriculture industry.
