Ming Zhang is currently an advisor at Prime Movers Lab. Prior to this, they were the co-founder and CEO of zGlue from June 2014 to July 2020. zGlue was a company that created chips on demand for connected devices. Before zGlue, Ming worked as a director of engineering and principal engineer at Samsung Electronics from June 2013 to June 2014. In this role, they led a team conducting research and development for SoC design methodology and foundry customer support and enablement. From October 2012 to June 2013, Ming was an entrepreneur for a stealth startup. And prior to that, they were the VP of engineering at June Blackbox, Inc. from July 2011 to October 2012.
Ming Zhang received their Ph.D. in EE from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, their MS in EE from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and their B.S. in Physics from Peking University.
