Brad Minnick is Primera’s highway transportation expert charged with managing Primera’s Munster, Indiana office. He’s passionate about building fruitful, long-term engineering relationships with neighbors and communities all across northern Indiana and into southern Michigan. "He is excited about the opportunity to introduce Primera’s expertise, capabilities and superior level of service to the numerous cities, towns and counties in northwestern Indiana,” he explains. Brad has more than 18 years of experience in the highway transportation industry, including five years working for the Indiana Department of Transportation. He has provided program and project management, site civil and construction engineering services to a broad spectrum of corporate, federal, cultural, aviation, transportation, and parks and recreation clients.
Brad studied civil engineering at Purdue University before spending the early years of his career working for one of the largest HMA and aggregate production contractors in the United States. He spent 13 years there before becoming the Construction Director for the LaPorte District of the Indiana Department of Transportation. In his time there, he managed the construction inspection of more than $1 Billion worth of work and supervised six Area Engineers in 13 northwest Indiana counties, as well as 60 project engineers and supervisors. Brad’s expertise and experience serving as the owner and the contractor give him a unique perspective on projects that leads to cost savings for the clients.
