Dr. Sultan Alshareef

Dr. Sultan Alshareef is a highly experienced professional in sustainability and urban development, currently serving as an Advisory Board Member at the Center for Sustainability and Climate at Prince Sultan University and as Sustainability Associate Director at New Murabba since February and October 2024, respectively. As a co-founder and Board Member of the Sustainability Professionals of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Alshareef actively promotes sustainability initiatives. Previously, roles included General Manager of Sustainability and Urban Development at NCECKSA, Sustainability Expert at The Royal Commission for AlUla, and Project Manager at the Ministry of Media. Dr. Alshareef's academic background includes a PhD in Sustainability in the Built Environment from Trinity College Dublin, along with two master's degrees in Construction Engineering and Management and Transportation Engineering and Planning from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering, and a bachelor's degree in Architecture from Umm Al-Qura University.
