Michael Knutson

Michael Knutson serves as the Assistant Director of Human Resources at Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools since October 2023. Previously, Michael held multiple roles at Lemonada Media from August 2021 to October 2023, including Managing Director of Business Development and Director of Business Development. Prior experience also includes positions at Hiawatha Academies, where Michael worked from January 2018 to August 2021 as Senior Human Resources Officer, Human Resources Director, and Director of Talent Recruitment, as well as serving as Director of Operations from July 2012 to July 2017. Michael began a career in education as a First Grade Teacher at Robert Muller LIFE School and a Bilingual First Grade Teacher at Milwaukee Public Schools, following a role as a Teaching Assistant at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Michael holds a BA in History and International Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Arts in School of Education and Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University.
