Mark Dejong

Mark DeJong serves as the Prison Ministry Manager for Iowa, Minnesota, and Nebraska at Prison Fellowship, a leading Christian nonprofit focused on aiding prisoners and advocating for justice reform, since November 2020. Prior to this role, DeJong worked as the Residential Admissions Manager at YSS, where responsibilities included recruiting and transitioning clients into adolescent treatment programs from March 2017 to November 2020. DeJong's extensive experience in management also includes serving as the Director of Operations at St. Gregory Retreat Centers, overseeing operations and program implementation from December 2012 to March 2017. Earlier positions include Major Account Sales Representative at Waste Management and various sales and management roles at Kraft Foods Group and Oscar Mayer Foods, where significant retail and sales strategy development took place. DeJong holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from the University of Northern Iowa.
