Patricia Esveld is a business administrator by training, and has been active in various sectors within the healthcare sector for about 28 years. For the past 11 years she has worked as chairman of the Board of Directors at HilverZorg in Gooi- en Vechtstreek and at Heliomare in Wijk aan Zee. In her previous positions, she was involved, among other things, in strategy development and restructuring of organizations and (technological) innovations.
Patricia's drive is mainly in providing the best care to people who depend on care. As a networker and connector, she is on track and result-oriented. Adding real social value for clients, employees and partners: that is her ambition. In doing so, it is always looking for the best solution through cooperation in the region, innovation and the application of (new) technology.
Patricia assumes the self-direction and strength of clients and professionals. Clarity about direction, goals and frameworks are necessary for professionals to achieve valuable and affordable care together with their clients. It goes without saying that you do this from the client's journey, and therefore as much as possible from your own home situation.
Patricia likes to participate in developments such as the Personal Health Record of the client and electronic data exchange in the region. To this end, she participated in the Information Council within VWS from her administrative role within ActiZ. In the past, as the owner of the consultancy It Cares, she introduced the AWBZ-wide Care Registration (AZR) in the Netherlands for VWS and ZN.
In addition to her work as a director, Patricia is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Triade Vitree foundation (care for the VG and Youth sector). In recent years she has also been administratively active in the branch organization of the VVT (ActiZ) and Revalidation Netherlands.
