Josh Carmichael

Josh Carmichael is an experienced data and AI professional with a strong background in data science and engineering. Currently serving as a Data/AI Engineer at Programa since March 2024, Josh previously held data scientist roles at Linktree and NAB, as well as a data scientist/analyst position at Xero. Earlier experience includes work as a Client Software Engineer at DemystData and a Data Science Intern at EYC3, where a chatbot was developed using the Microsoft Bot Framework. Previous engineering internships at Vector Limited involved designing tools and UI for sampling methodologies and data access for energy congestion analysis. Josh holds a Master of Business Analytics from Melbourne Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) from The University of Auckland.
