Kris Magel

Kris Magel is an experienced executive in the marketing, advertising, and media industry, currently serving as Executive In Residence at Progress Partners since January 2021, providing strategic consultation on investment and M&A opportunities. Previously, Kris held the position of VP Head of Agency and Publisher Solutions at Samba TV from July 2021 to July 2024, where responsibilities included enhancing agency and publisher capabilities through data-driven solutions. Prior experience includes serving as President of Media Clients at dentsu international, where Kris focused on developing tailored service solutions for clients, and overseeing Initiative's East Coast operations as President, contributing significantly to agency revenue and media spend. Kris also held leadership positions at Zenith Media US and Optimedia US, specializing in national broadcast media and integrating cross-channel media strategies. Kris earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing/Marketing Management from SUNY Geneseo.
