Janayah Bagurusi

Janayah Bagurusi serves as the Senior Director of Resident Services at Project for Pride in Living since October 2023. Additionally, Janayah operates On Fire Coaching as a Life Coach, Reiki Practitioner, and Owner since January 2022, focusing on wellness through life coaching and Reiki sessions. Prior experience includes a notable tenure at the Amherst H. Wilder Foundation, where Janayah held multiple leadership roles, including Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Strategy, and Director of Supportive Housing, contributing to various initiatives in housing services, diversity, and community development from December 2012 to October 2023. Janayah's career also includes positions at Twin Cities Local Initiatives Support Corporation, Embrace Your Powerful Life, LLC, and Saint Paul Youth Service Bureau, complemented by an MPA from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a BA in Social Work from the University of St. Thomas.
