Gina Bianchini is a business advisor and entrepreneur. Gina is currently an advisor at Project Include, a nonprofit organization that works to advance diversity and inclusion in the tech industry. Previously, they were a board member of Scripps Networks Interactive Inc. from February 2012 to April 2018. Prior to that, they were an entrepreneur-in-residence at Andreessen Horowitz from April 2010 to January 2011.
Bianchini co-founded Ning, a social media platform, in 2004 and served as its CEO until 2010. After leaving Ning, they founded Mightybell, which was later renamed Mighty Networks. Mightybell was a social media platform that allowed users to create online communities around their interests. Bianchini served as the CEO of Mightybell from January 2011 to April 2017.
Prior to co-founding Ning, Bianchini was the president and co-founder of Harmonic Communications, a technology consulting company that they started in 2002. Before that, they worked as a director of business development and investor relations for CKS Group, a global branding and marketing firm, from 1996 to 1998. Bianchini began their career as a financial analyst for Goldman Sachs & Co. in 1994.
Gina Bianchini has a MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA in Political Science from Stanford University.
