Ben Hammersley is a Principal at Hammersley Futures, an international applied futurism consultancy established in August 2010, focusing on assessing disruption risks and opportunities in the digital future. In addition to this role, Ben Hammersley serves as a Board Member at Project Trust and an Academic Fellow at the European Policy Centre. Since September 2019, Ben Hammersley has been an Associate at the Imperial War Museums Institute. With a long-standing affiliation with WIRED UK as a Contributing Editor since 2008, Ben Hammersley also contributed to BA Business Life magazine as a columnist for British Airways from November 2012 to March 2020. Previous experience includes reporting and presenting for the BBC from 2007 to 2018, where Ben Hammersley gained recognition for the award-winning program "Cybercrime."
