Beatrice Colon

Beatrice Colon is an experienced Account Manager currently employed at Promega Corporation since September 2024, with prior experience at FORMULATRIX from May 2023 to August 2024, where responsibilities included collaborating with laboratories to automate workflows for the UK and Ireland markets. Prior to these roles, Beatrice served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the School of Life Sciences, University of Dundee from October 2018 to April 2023, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine from January 2017 to September 2018, focusing on drug development for primary amoebic meningoencephalitis. Beatrice enhanced expertise in parasitology during a summer course at the Marine Biological Laboratory in 2017 and developed skills in drug discovery while obtaining a Ph.D. in Infectious Disease from the University of Georgia and a Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from the University of South Florida.
