Rosario Pajuelo Escobar

Rosario Pajuelo Escobar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in international trade, sustainability, and market development, currently serving as the Director of PROMPERU in France and Switzerland since September 2019. Previous roles include Director of the Commercial Office of Peru in Brussels and Luxembourg, and an International Consultant in Biodiversity and Sustainability for the EuroEcoTrade program. With a strong background in promoting luxury natural fibers, Rosario successfully initiated a campaign for alpaca and Pima cotton in Europe and co-founded INSIDERS Sustainable Trade, a consulting platform for women in sustainable trade. Rosario holds several advanced degrees, including a Master in Administration from Boston University and a Master II in Economic Relations from Université Paris-Sorbonne, complemented by additional qualifications in macroeconomics, negotiation, and coffee roasting.
