Kate Schaefer

Kate Schaefer is a seasoned professional in the aerospace consulting and business sectors, serving as the Managing Director of KSS Aero Consulting LLC since March 2024, focusing on strategy and growth during transitions. Currently, Kate also holds positions as a member of the Board of Directors at Proponent and as a member of the Board of Advisors at the UW Foster School of Business, both beginning in 2024 and 2023 respectively. From June 2019 to March 2024, Kate was Senior Vice President & GM at Boeing, overseeing Aircraft Mods, Converted Freighters, and Specialty Products among other roles. Prior experience includes leadership positions at Moog Inc., HEICO Corp., and AAR CORP. Kate Schaefer earned an MBA from Durham University between 2002 and 2005.
