Justin Hume

Justin Hume is a seasoned technology and education professional with extensive experience in software development and educational innovation. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Proserva since January 2023, Justin focuses on leveraging AI and user-centric design to enhance teacher development and licensure processes. As the CEO of Techmate Labs since August 2008, Justin leads custom SAAS development for startups and enterprises, emphasizing professional relationships and product optimization. Previous roles include VP of Product Engineering at Level Company, where Justin was instrumental in developing a dual-sided SaaS platform, Product Manager at AirDev, specializing in no-code development, and a Middle School Teacher at Edmonton Public Schools, where Justin pioneered Western Canada's first Virtual Reality Programming Course. Justin also served as a full-time voluntary missionary from December 2009 to December 2011, becoming fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Justin holds two Bachelor of Education degrees from the University of Alberta, specializing in Educational/Instructional Technology and Elementary Education.
