Muhammad Harris Hashmi

Muhammad Harris Hashmi is an experienced data scientist currently serving as an Associate II Data Scientist at Protective Life since January 2022. In this role, Muhammad has successfully created a custom Time Series AutoArima model that automated the monthly forecasting process, significantly reducing the time required for this task. Additionally, Muhammad developed an Annuity Sales Forecast for budgeting and resource allocation purposes. Prior roles include Associate Data Scientist at Protective Life, where Muhammad rescripted and transformed a SAS model into Python and built a forecasting model for weekly sales. Muhammad also has experience as a Machine Learning Teaching Assistant and Graduate Student Assistant at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, as well as internship experience in data analysis and engineering. Muhammad holds an MSc in Data Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology.
