David Russell

David Russell has a diverse professional background, combining extensive experience in sports coaching and the entertainment industry with significant accomplishments in marketing and sales. Currently an Assistant Coach for Varsity Girls Basketball at Providence Day School since 2007, Russell has contributed to the team's impressive record, including multiple state championships and the development of numerous collegiate and professional players. In addition to coaching, Russell has worked as a stand-in for various television and film productions, including projects for Lionsgate, Amazon Prime, and HBO. Prior experience includes over 25 years in the pharmaceutical sector with GlaxoSmithKline, where Russell held senior managerial roles and significantly impacted regional sales, alongside an early career in admissions at Mercer University. Russell holds a BA in English, Health, and Physical Education from Mercer University.
