Erwin Smedeman

Erwin Smedeman is an experienced professional in railway engineering and project management, currently serving as Projectleider Spoor at Provincie Groningen since September 2020. Prior to this role, Erwin worked at Antea Group Nederland as a Senior Adviseur/Projectleider for nearly a year. Erwin’s extensive background includes positions at Sweco Nederland as a Consultant in Railway Engineering & Constructions, as well as Project Engineer roles at CLAFIS Ingenieus and Strukton Rail. Earlier career experiences include engineering at Brunel Engineering and Consulting Ltd and planning at Hulpmiddelencentrum Noordoost Nederland. Erwin holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Project Management Infra from HAN University of Applied Sciences, completed between 2014 and 2017.
