Luc Haverkamp is currently serving as the EU Representative for the province of Noord-Holland, a position held since January 2023. Previously, Haverkamp worked as a Bestuursadviseur at Vervoerregio Amsterdam and held multiple roles, including Trainee at Traineeship Metropoolregio Amsterdam and Trade Developer at Gemeente Amsterdam. Earlier experiences include serving as Policy Advisor for European Affairs at Provincie Noord-Holland, providing policy advice on Dutch positions regarding European migration at The West Wing Think Tank, and completing an internship at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tel Aviv. Haverkamp's involvement in junior entrepreneurship includes serving as Chairman of the Board at UniPartners Amsterdam and JADE Ambassador. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Political Science from Leiden University, a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, and a minor in Conflict Studies from the University of Amsterdam, as well as a minor in International Relations from the Università di Bologna.
