Vern Keeslar

Vern Keeslar, AICP, currently serves as the Traffic Manager for Provo City since March 2023. Prior to this role, Vern Keeslar held the position of Senior Transportation Planner at Parametrix from November 2015 to March 2023. A wealth of experience includes serving as Planning Manager at InterPlan Co. (August 2005 - November 2015), City Manager for the City of Providence (August 2003 - May 2005), and Long Range Planner for Provo City (November 1995 - July 2003). Earlier positions include Development Coordinator with Riverton, Utah - City Government (March 1995 - August 1995), Planner for Utah County (February 1994 - March 1995), and Planning Intern for the City of Orem (November 1992 - December 1993). Vern Keeslar earned a Master of Public Administration from the University of Utah (1997 - 1999) and a B.S. in Geography from Brigham Young University (1991 - 1993), with earlier education at the University of Colorado Boulder (1989 - 1990).
