Mohammed Ismail

Mohammed Ismail is an experienced procurement and logistics professional with a diverse background in the food and automotive industries. Currently serving as Principal Consultant and Purchasing Specialist at Proxima Group since June 2012, Mohammed has previously held significant roles at HJ Heinz, including Senior Buyer for Special Projects in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions, as well as Global Sea Freight Manager and Senior European Logistics Buyer. In these positions, responsibilities included developing procurement strategies, managing logistics and contract negotiations, and building indirect purchasing capabilities. Mohammed's prior experience also includes roles at United Biscuits (UK) Ltd and Visteon, where achievements involved cost savings and the establishment of commodity bid lists across multiple European manufacturing plants. Mohammed holds a degree from Nottingham Trent University, completed in 1998.
