Jonathan Gale

Jonathan Gale is the current Chairman at Proximity Insight and has an extensive work history in different companies. Jonathan was previously the Non Executive Board Member at DueDil from September 2019 to August 2021. During that time, they worked as board member and advisor to CEO Justin Fitzpatrick until DueDil was merged with Artesian in the summer of 2021. Prior to that, they were with Vizibl and Proximity Insight. Jonathan also worked as the Exec In Residence at Notion Capital from May 2018 to March 2021 where they worked part-time advising and assisting Notion portfolio companies on their product, sales and overall growth strategies. Before that, they were the Chief Executive Officer at NewVoiceMedia (now Vonage) from October 2010 to January 2018. There, they set the strategy, defined the vision, hired the team and focused the day to day execution that meant that NewVoiceMedia grew from a 30 person UK only Cloud contact centre software company into a global SAAS market leader with several hundred employees, with a global customer base of large Enterprises that was successfully acquired in 2018 by Vonage Inc, in one of Europe’s largest tech exits of that decade.

Jonathan Gale first studied at Oakham School before going on to study geographical science at the University of Portsmouth. Jonathan then went on to complete a postgraduate degree in education at the University of Cambridge.
