Lauren Powers

Lauren Powers is the current Director at PRSA Georgia. Before taking on this role, Lauren was a Senior Marketing Manager at Emory University School of Medicine for 5 years. Prior to their time at Emory, Lauren worked for 8 years and 11 months as the Communications and Special Events Manager, Communications Specialist at Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University. In this role, Lauren was responsible for developing and executing the school’s multichannel marketing and communications strategies, as well as managing the school’s email marketing program. Lauren also oversaw the logistics and communications for signature events, such as convocation, orientation, and information sessions. In addition, Lauren was responsible for creating content for the school’s website, developing and executing email campaigns, and managing the school’s social media presence.

Lauren Powers has a Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University in Mass Communication/Media Studies. Lauren was active in Kappa Delta Sorority, LSU Panhellenic Council, Public Relations Student Society of America, Mortar Board, Greek Board of Directors, and College Republicans while they were a student.
