Emily Muteb

Emily Muteb is an accomplished Environmental & Sustainable Development Manager at Freeport Indonesia, overseeing Environmental, Social Responsibility, Human Rights, Risk Management, and ESG Reporting for the Manyar Smelter Project in Gresik, Indonesia since February 2022. Previously, Emily served as Strategic Community Development Manager for the Manyar Smelter Project at Freeport-McMoRan from February 2013 to April 2022, along with holding roles as Community Development Manager, Senior Community Development Specialist, and Community Development Specialist. Emily holds a Master's degree in International Development from Tulane University, as well as completing courses in Water Management at Harvard Extension School and earning a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Education and International Agriculture from Iowa State University.
