Brandt Huddle

Brandt Huddle is an accomplished scientist currently serving as a Senior Scientist in Early Discovery Chemistry at PTC Therapeutics, Inc. since January 2020, after previously holding the position of Scientist II in the same department. Prior to this, Brandt worked as a Research Associate at Weill Cornell Medicine, where methodologies for synthesizing self-healing cyanine fluorophores were improved and probe compounds for target identification were designed and synthesized. Brandt's experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship and graduate research at the University of Michigan, focusing on the design and synthesis of isoform selective ALDH inhibitors for ovarian cancer therapy, in collaboration with enzymologists and cell biologists. Education includes a PhD in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oklahoma.
