Kevin Minkun Wang

Kevin Minkun Wang is an accomplished professional in the fields of bioinformatics and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Director of the Department of Bioinformatics at PTM BIO since April 2021. In this role, Kevin leads the development of advanced bioinformatics and machine learning algorithms tailored for proteomics and post-translational modification data and oversees a team of over 40 engineers, managing more than 3,000 analysis tasks annually. Prior to PTM BIO, Kevin held positions as Principal Investigator at Innovent Biologics and R&D Associate Director at iCarbonX, focusing on statistical learning models and AI applications in healthcare. Kevin obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Virginia Tech, building upon an undergraduate degree from the University of Science and Technology of China.
