Kyra Lauersdorf

Kyra Lauersdorf is an experienced investigative professional currently serving as an Investigative Specialist at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia since October 2023. With prior experience as an Investigator at Levy Firestone Muse and as an Investigative Intern at the same organization, Kyra developed a solid foundation in legal investigations. Additional roles include a Legal Intern at the California Innocence Project, a Legal Assistant at the Oregon Office of Public Defense Services, and various internships in education and legal settings. Kyra holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Oregon, complemented by a High School Diploma from St. Mary's Academy.
