Jean C. O’Connor has spent nearly 20 years working at the intersection of law, policy, and public health. Jean is passionate about improving health outcomes through evidence-based interventions and policies, and building the public health workforce. She has worked in state health departments, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and non-profit organizations. She teaches health professional students at Emory University and the University of Georgia part-time. She earned her joint JD and MPH from Emory University and her DrPH from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
