Laurent Crenshaw

Laurent Crenshaw is the Head of Policy for Patreon Inc. At Patreon, he is leading the company’s policy development, strategy, planning, and advocacy globally in the Content, Payments, Benefits, Merchandise, Community, and Public categories.

Prior to joining Patreon, Laurent served in senior public policy roles at Eaze and Yelp. At Eaze Laurent was the Senior Director of Government Affairs where he led the company’s efforts to change banking, taxation, transportation, and possession laws at the federal and state levels to allow for businesses to deliver legal, adult-use cannabis.

At Yelp Laurent championed technology and fair competition issues. Additionally, he spearheaded the company’s efforts to protect consumer freedom of speech online, successfully advocating for the passage of legislation at the federal and state levels.
