Jeff Fortemps, MAS, has served as a Patrol Sergeant at Saddle River Police Department since August 2000, where responsibilities include operations planning, emergency management, and supervising traffic safety. Fortemps also has a strong background in police training, covering various topics such as active shooter response and firearms. Previous experience includes roles as a Police Officer in the Patrol Division and participation in specialized task forces. Additionally, Fortemps is involved with the American Red Cross as a Life Safety Asset Protection/Disaster Action Team member and serves as a Police Instructor at Bergen County Police Academy. Education includes a pursuit of a Master’s in Administrative Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University and various leadership training through the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association and other institutions, including a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminal Justice from William Paterson University.
