Bianca Castro

Bianca Castro is a climate justice advocate serving as the Deputy Program Leader of Roots at Greenpeace since February 2022, where efforts focus on empowering frontline communities and youth through workshops, storytelling, and event hosting. In addition, Bianca serves as a Politics columnist for Jornal Crónico and has been an Op-ed columnist for Público since October 2020, documenting experiences at various UN climate conferences. As a Climate Justice Activist and Organizer with Fridays For Future International since February 2019, Bianca has coordinated numerous climate actions and campaigns, working as a spokesperson and networker across global activist platforms. Previously, Bianca contributed as a Political Commentator at TSF - Rádio Notícias. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa and a music course at Escola das Artes do Alentejo Litoral.
