Linda Lowen

Linda Lowen is an accomplished book reviewer and freelance author with extensive experience in various writing and teaching roles. Since January 2018, Linda has served as a book reviewer for Publishers Weekly and has contributed to The Writer Magazine for Madavor Media. As the founder of Struck By Writing, Linda organizes weeklong writing retreats in scenic locations, while also leading online writing instruction through Always Wanted to Write. Linda has a notable background in theater reviewing for syracuse.com and has taught creative non-fiction at the Downtown Writer's Center. Additionally, Linda produced and co-hosted the award-winning health and wellness radio program "Take Care" for WRVO Public Media from 2013 to 2018. With a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature, education has been a significant focus throughout Linda's career, including courses at Oasis Lifelong Learning and writing columns for Syracuse New Times and Family Times.
