Suma Balaram Schippers

Suma Balaram Schippers is an experienced Art Director and Design Manager at Purpose, overseeing creative projects and integrated campaigns across India and EMEA since May 2019. Suma has developed and executed inclusive design strategies for various climate and social initiatives, collaborating with prominent organizations like The Fondation L'Oreal, IKEA Foundation, and the United Nations. Previously, Suma served as a Senior Visual Designer & Design Researcher, contributing to impactful climate campaigns and facilitating co-creation workshops. With a diverse background that includes freelance design work and positions at companies such as Influenster and Parley for the Oceans, Suma has expertise in branding, UI/UX design, and illustration. Suma holds a Master of Science in Strategic Design and Management from Parsons School of Design and a Bachelor of Arts from LASALLE College of the Arts.
