Lian Heinhuis

Lian Heinhuis currently serves as the Directeur Klimaat en Biodiversiteit at the Turing Foundation since June 2022 and has been the Fractievoorzitter PvdA Amsterdam as well as a Raadslid and Duo-raadslid in the PvdA since September 2018. Prior to these roles, Lian worked at Porticus from August 2016 to May 2022, holding positions including Global Programme Manager (Just Transition) and Research Analyst. Lian's earlier experience includes positions at Rabobank, where responsibilities ranged from conducting market analysis for the seafood industry as a Research Analyst to performing financial analyses as a Junior Credit Analyst. Lian also gained valuable experience through internships at the Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken and UNHCR, and completed a BA and MA in International Relations at the University of Amsterdam.
