Gideon Madenga

Gideon Madenga is a Computer Science student at the University of Virginia, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently serving as a Data Structures and Algorithms Teaching Assistant at UVA Engineering since January 2023, Gideon assists over 300 students with tutoring and lab activities. Earlier roles include Introduction to Programming Teaching Assistant and various leadership positions within Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, including Chapter President and Secretary, where Gideon directed chapter activities and organized community service initiatives. Additional experience as a Resident Advisor and Career Peer Educator reinforces Gideon's commitment to fostering inclusive environments and supporting peers. Gideon has also completed internships at PwC, focusing on software engineering and data analysis, and held a position as a Dairy Clerk at Harris Teeter.
