Melissa Gil Avendano

Melissa Gil Avendano is currently the President and Public Relations Chair of ALPFA at Stevens Institute of Technology, while also working as a Crew Member at Trader Joe's. Since August 2022, Melissa has served as a Resident Assistant at Stevens Institute of Technology, advising first-year students on academic and personal matters. Previous experiences include a fellowship with JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 2022, various roles at Trader Joe's and H&M, as well as a position as a hostess at Texas Roadhouse and cashier at Atlantic Pier Amusements. Melissa is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business and Technology at Stevens Institute of Technology, expected to graduate in May 2024, following the completion of a high school diploma from Egg Harbor Township High School in June 2020.
